Black Gutinous Rice

Thai Black Glutinous Rice has a rich flavor that is distinctly different from the taste of normal glutinous rice. It is generally sweetened with coconut milk and sugar and eaten as a snack or dessert.

Brown Glutinous Rice

Sweet brown rice is a short grain variety of whole grain brown rice. Like all rice, it is gluten free and a nutritious whole grain to add to your diet. It’s thick and short and cooks up completely different from normal rice. Once it is cooked, the rice grains will hold their shape, but when they break open – the inside is thick and creamy.

Brown Rice

Brown rice is whole-grain rice, comes in short or long grain varieties. It has been milled to remove the outer husk but retains its bran layer, which is chock-full of nutrients. Cooked brown rice boasts a subtly chewy texture and nutty flavor. Brown rice is a good source of magnesium, phosphorus, selenium, thiamine, niacin, vitamin B6, and manganese, and is high in fiber.

Red-Cargo Rice

Red Cargo rice is a type of non-glutinous long grain rice that is similar to brown rice, in that it is unpolished. The color of the bran is red, purple, or maroon. The husks of the rice grains are removed during the milling process, retaining all the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals intact in the bran layer and in the germ.

Thai Riceberry

Riceberry is a registered rice variety from Thailand, a cross-breed of Jao Hom Nin (JHN), a local non-glutinous purple rice and Khoa Dawk Mali 105 (hom mali rice). It is a deep purple whole grain rice with softness and a palatable aftertaste. Riceberry has been a popular brown rice due to its health promoting properties. Inducing people to consume more brown rice could help ameliorate food-related chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, high blood cholesterol, obesity, and cancers. Riceberry is grown primarily in north and northeastern Thailand. The wet season months of August through December are suitable for Riceberry planting.

Brown Pathumthani Rice

It is Pathumthai Rice which is whole-grain rice with the inedible outer hull removed.

Brown Jasmine Rice

Hom Mali Brown Rice is the world’s only traditional grain of rice with a natural fragrance similar to the pandanus plant. Thai “Hom Mali” Rice has an international reputation for the appearance and cooking texture but most of all for its aroma which is subtle yet fragrant.
